Students

Choose a project that fits your research interests. Identify a question, experiment, or software contribution you would pursue and the skills you would bring to it.

Contact the lab with an example of your work: code with tests, a reproduced result, a study design, or a written analysis. Explain your contribution and your availability. We agree on scope, supervision, and credit before a project starts.

Postdoctoral researchers

Describe an independent research direction related to our current research. Contact the lab with your CV, relevant publications, and the question you would like to pursue.

Research staff

We are recruiting an AI Data Science Software Developer for a two-year, fixed-term hybrid position. Please apply through Stanford’s official job posting.

For other staff inquiries, contact the lab.

Visiting researchers and collaborators

Identify a connection to our papers or open-source projects. Describe the study or technical work you propose, what your team would contribute, and the intended outcome.

Open-source contributors

Our project directory links to public repositories. Contributions include reproducible bug reports, tests, accessibility improvements, and evaluation examples. Follow the repository’s contribution guidelines; use GitHub Issues for specific changes and GitHub Discussions for broader proposals.
